Privacy information

Last updated on February 6th, 2017

Everyone’s right to privacy is important. I value my privacy, and I’m sure you value yours as well.

I don’t directly collect any personal information through this website. However, if you sign and submit the contribution licensing agreement (CLA) for one of my projects that requires it, I inherently collect some personally identifying information with that, such as your name, email, and address.

Additionally, I make use of analytics services provided by Google. You can learn more about how this service works, what information is collected, and how you can control that information or opt-out at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

I will not share any personally identifying information unless I’m legally required to (and only to the minimum extent necessary), for example under a subpoena or to defend myself in court if need be. (Such as, to prove that I have the right to use your contributions under the submitted CLA.)

I may share aggregated, non-identifying information with others. And by this I mean that I might (and probably will at some point) say to a friend “Wow! I had over 100 different visits to my website last month!” or “Cool! People in Japan are actually visiting my site!”

I may update this info from time to time. If I make a change related to how I handle your personally identifying information, I’ll attempt to notify you of the change.

If you have further questions about how I handle your information, you can contact me by email at ikaheishi﹫ikaheishi.net. 😉
